[UENO] Moon Gallery&Studio

Main gallery

Located a short walk from Ueno station, our main gallery is at the center of Tokyo's exciting cultural crossroads. This branch is minutes away from Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo Geidai) and The National Museum of Western Art. We hold ≈40 exhibitions and art events per year.

Moon Gallery & Studio is a space dedicated to providing artists from different countries with a platform for exhibition and exchange. We accept various forms of art, including installations, paintings, performance, and more. Since its founding in 2023, Moon Gallery & Studio has hosted numerous public exhibitions, solo and small group shows, and events including artist talks, film screenings, and community-oriented exchanges. We also hold art workshops on a routine basis.

In 2025, Moon Gallery & Studio expanded by opening a second branch, 'mooon shop,' located near Kichijoji station in Musashino city. This new space continues the gallery’s aim of supporting artistic exchange and provides additional space for exhibitions and artwork sales.
