現在、東京で活動しているデザイナー兼ビジュアルアーティスト。個人のビジュアルアートとメディアアートの分野で活躍しており、さまざまな表現方法とメディア形式を駆使し、マルチメディアビジュアル表現の可能性を探求しています。これまで主に分形アートを用いて実験的な映像作品やデジタルメディアアートを制作してきましたが、現在は立体インスタレーションアートとメディアの融合に焦点を当て、抽象的な作品を中心に、物体同士の相互作用と組み合わせを探求し、表現力と遊び心に満ちた立体メディアアート作品の創作に取り組んでいます。

Artist Statement

The theme of this exhibition is "Reset to zero(returning to the beginning)",which is my reflection and summary of another stage in my life.

China has some calculators that make a sound when pressed, and when the clear key is pressed, they make a sound "reset to zero". And it appears on the poster as a major design element this time alos in my art work.

For a long time, I have been educated to find meaning in everything, so much so that I seem to have a serious obsessive-compulsive thought: if I can't find the profound meaning of what I'm doing, even if I'm enjoying it in the moment, I will quickly feel self-doubt and start to blame myself.

Because of this thought, my life immediately had a backlash after leaving the strong pursuit of academic credentials in student life and entering society.

I don't enjoy life and I don't know what to do. So, I have always wanted to get rid of this thought and find true happiness, but once you start pursuing happiness, it can make you exceptionally tired.

That's why in the works of this exhibition, I will create many meaningless works.

I don't want to pursue the meaning of anything anymore. I just want to enjoy this simple, boring, yet relaxing happiness. That's all.
