当たり前を超えて：レインボー・クリスマス

展覧会概要

クリスマスは、多くの人々にとって「団らん」「温もり」「帰属意識」を象徴する季節です。しかし、LGBTQコミュニティにとって、この時期はしばしば目に見えないプレッシャーを伴います。結婚やパートナー、将来についての問いかけは、こうした「幸せであるべき瞬間」に容赦なく現れ、帰省を必ずしも心地よいものにはしません。こうした日々に、孤独や自己を隠さなければならない感覚が入り込むべきではありません。

そこで、2025年12月23日から28日まで、自由に、説明する必要なく、自分らしくいられる空間を提供するグループ展を開催します。この冬に、誰もが自分だけの温かい瞬間を持てるように。

本展には、異なる背景を持つ三人のアーティストが参加します。

林家夯：台湾出身、リアリティ番組『男生男生配』にも参加したことがあるアーティスト。映像とアートブックを通じて、身体、感情、アイデンティティの痕跡を記録します。

Pedro Nekoi：ブラジル出身、東京に在住しているグラフィックデザイナー・ヴィジュアルアーティスト。デジタルと現実の素材を並置し、幻想と現実の間を漂う視覚世界を構築します。

Stitchguy：東京に在住している刺繍アーティスト。テキスタイルと針仕事を通じて、身体や関係性、親密さを描き、柔らかさを表現の力へと昇華させます。

形式は異なれど、三者の作品は共通のテーマ「自己認識、親密さ、視線、存在」を巡り、各々の独自の表現とスタイルを提示します。

本展の意義は、クリスマスに伝統的な家族に戻れず、疎外感を覚える人々にとって、安心して立ち寄れる居場所を提供することにあります。

 In popular imagination, Christmas symbolizes reunion, warmth, and a sense of belonging. Yet for many in the LGBTQ community, the holiday often brings invisible pressures—questions about marriage, partners, and the future arise precisely at these moments when happiness is “supposed” to be the norm, making the act of returning home feel less comforting. But a holiday should not make anyone feel lonely or compelled to hide who they are.

To address this, we are holding a group exhibition from December 23 to 28, 2025, offering a space where people can be themselves freely, without explanation, and feel at ease—creating moments of warmth uniquely their own during the winter season.

The exhibition features three artists from diverse backgrounds:

Lin Jaihang, a Taiwanese artist who has appeared on the reality show Boys Like Boys, explores traces of body, emotion, and identity through video and artist books.

Pedro Nekoi, a Brazilian graphic designer and visual artist based in Tokyo, juxtaposes digital and physical materials to construct a visual world hovering between fantasy and reality.

Stitchguy, an embroidery artist living in Tokyo, uses textiles and stitching to depict bodies, relationships, and intimacy, transforming softness into a powerful mode of expression.

Though their mediums differ, all three engage with common themes: self-identity, intimacy, gaze, and existence, each presenting a distinct style and voice.

The exhibition offers a meaningful refuge for those who feel disconnected from traditional family life at Christmas—a place where one can pause, feel safe, and simply be.

Artist Introduction & Representative Works

林家夯（Lin Jaihang）

林家夯（Lin Jaihang）は台北在住。国立台湾芸術大学卒業。男性同性愛者としてのアイデンティティと感情的関係性を核に据えた写真制作に取り組み、自身の表現を「曖昧系私写真（Ambiguous Private Photography）」と称している。作品は主に自身と男性パートナーを被写体とし、日常生活におけるささやかな瞬間を捉えることで、親密な関係性や愛の物語を記録する。林家夯は独自の視点から、感情や欲望、人と人との相互作用をイメージとして具象化し、ゲイの感情世界に内在するやさしさと複雑さを浮かび上がらせている。

その写真表現は、親密性と私密性を重視し、自然光を生かした描写を特徴とする。日常に潜む繊細な感情のやり取りに焦点を当て、写真を単なる個人的恋愛の記録にとどめず、感情そのものを表現する手段として位置づけている。愛の多様性や流動性、関係性の深度を探求し、男性の視点から切り込むことで、同性愛における感情の多層性と豊かさを提示し、作品を通じて感情の再構築と解釈を行っている。

Lin Jaihang is based in Taipei and is a graduate of National Taiwan University of Arts. His photographic practice centers on his identity as a gay man and on emotional relationships. He describes his work as “Ambiguous Private Photography.” Focusing primarily on himself and his male partners as subjects, Lin captures subtle moments from everyday life to document intimacy and stories of love. Through a distinctive perspective, he visualizes emotion, desire, and interpersonal interaction, revealing the tenderness and complexity of the emotional world of gay men.

His photographic style emphasizes intimacy and privacy, often characterized by the use of natural light and shadow, and concentrates on delicate emotional exchanges embedded in daily life. For Lin Jaihang, photography is not merely a record of personal romance, but a means of emotional expression. By exploring the diversity and fluidity of love and the depth of relationships, and approaching these themes from a male perspective, he presents the multilayered richness of same-sex affection, using his works to reconstruct and reinterpret emotion.

Pedro Neko

Pedro Nekoi は、ブラジル出身で東京を拠点に活動するマルチディシプリナリーなビジュアルアーティストである。個展やグループ展をはじめ、世界各国のブランドやクライアントとのコラボレーションまで、幅広い制作活動を展開している。彼独自の表現は、シュルレアリスムと鮮やかな 3D デジタル・コラージュ技法を融合させ、創造性と革新性を横断しながら、人を惹きつける視覚的ナラティブを生み出している。

Pedro は 13 歳の頃から制作を始め、コンピュータ上での実験やノートへのスケッチを重ねてきた。自身の創作衝動に従い、2010 年にブラジルでグラフィックデザインを学ぶ。2018 年以降はフリーランスのアートディレクターとして活動を開始し、大胆でカラフルなビジュアルスタイルを評価するクライアントと協働。以降、YouTube、Adobe、Spotify、Netflix、avex、SLY など、国際的に著名なクライアントとのコラボレーションを次々と実現している。

これまでに参加した展覧会は計 9 回（個展 2 回、グループ展 7 回）。2019 年には、日本で初の個展「MUNDOS・世界」を開催。東京・恵比寿にて行われ、日本での生活体験から着想を得た作品群を発表し、多くの来場者を集めた。

2025 年、Pedro は再び東京へ拠点を移し、尽きることのないインスピレーションを与えてくれるこの街で、さらなるキャリアの構築を続けている。

Pedro Nekoi is a Brazilian, Tokyo-based multidisciplinary visual artist whose work spans solo exhibitions, group showcases, and collaborations with brands and clients worldwide. His distinctive artistic voice blends surrealism with vibrant 3D digital collage techniques, merging creativity and innovation to create captivating visual narratives.

Pedro has been creating artworks since he was 13 years old, always experimenting on the computer and sketching in his notebooks. Following his creative instincts, he began studying Graphic Design in Brazil in 2010. Starting in 2018, Pedro began his journey as a freelance art director, working with clients who appreciate his bold and colorful visual style. He quickly went on to collaborate with major global clients such as YouTube, Adobe, Spotify, Netflix, avex, SLY, and others.

Pedro has participated in nine exhibitions in total, two solo exhibitions and seven group exhibitions. In 2019, he held his first solo exhibition in Japan, titled MUNDOS・世界. The exhibition took place in Ebisu, Tokyo, and attracted a large number of visitors, showcasing Pedro’s creations inspired by his time living in Japan.

Pedro moved back to Tokyo in 2025 to continue building his artistic career, choosing to live once again in a city he admires and finds endlessly inspiring.

Stitchguy

武蔵野美術大学卒業後、スタイリスト、ファッションデザイナーを経て2015年〜Queer  embroidery artistとして活動を開始。作品のテーマは"Love"、Gayである自分自身の身の回りの日常で感じたこと、パートナーとの日々をモチーフに刺繍作品の制作を行う。主に日本から海外に向けてオリジナル作品とカスタムオーダーの制作販売の他、NYのランジェリーブランドとのコラボレーションアイテムの制作、個展やグループ展、アートフェアなどに参加。

After graduating from Musashino Art University, Stitchguy worked as a stylist and fashion designer before beginning his practice as a queer embroidery artist in 2015.

The central theme of his work is “Love.” Drawing from his everyday experiences as a gay man and from the daily life he shares with his partner, he creates embroidered works that reflect personal emotions and intimate moments.

Based in Japan and working primarily for international audiences, he produces and sells original works as well as custom commissions. In addition, he has created collaborative items with a New York–based lingerie brand and has participated in solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and art fairs.
